King Cotton project to record CD at Andersonshelta

The Bristol Community at Heart's multimedia project "King Cotton" is to record the music from the live show at Andersonshelta in May.

The "King Cotton" multimedia stage show is due to be performed at five or six dates in Bristol this summer and the live music is provided by a large Jazz big-band, as well as local-based Ghanian masterdrummer Ben Badoo, singers, an african djembe drum troupe, Travelling Light Youth Theatre and children from local schools.

The music from the show will be recorded at Andersonshelta studios in May for a CD release to co-incide with the live shows throughout the summer.

"This is the first major project, both in scope and size we have undertaken in the Andersonshelta digital studio, so we're hoping for a successful release that truly reflects the musical diversity of the live show," said Foxy MD Mark Anderson.

The CD will be available via the Foxy Productions website, as well as on sale at the shows, from late May.
