Particle Hotel to play Ashton Court Festival bristol

The Blackout Tent, a multi screened media installation at this years Ashton Court Festival (Europes biggest Community Festival) will host an audio-visual performance by a coalition of musicians from YoYo.UK and Zoom Quartet and digital image designers.

Having successfully performed here for three years running, this years 45 minute set, called "Particle Hotel" will be the most adventurous yet, according to a band spokesperson.

With three large projection screens, and a bag of digital audio effects and manipulators, the musicians will perform to custom designed images and video by Mike Moran. Challenging and energetic as in previous years when the Zoom Quartet vs YoYo.UK set was described as being akin to "standing in the path of an aircraft taking off" for its energy and intensity, the coalition intend this years show to go one better.
