Classical twins and Diva Basira to record at Andersonshelta

The Classical woodwind duo of twins Helen and Catherine Saunders together with the Divine Diva Basira Ward-Davies ("Troy" film soundtrack, "Wild Strings Quartet") are to record their Pink Project with producer Marco Anderson here at Andersonshelta next month.

With interest already from BMG/Sony, the trio of classical musicians together with Producer Marco Anderson are to record a CD project based on the colour Pink and its associated feelings, emotions and textures.

Taking their favourite well known and not-so-well known classical themes, they will be setting them against the modern sonic soundscapes created using Andersonshelta's vast sound designer palette, with Marco Anderson once again in the producer's chair.

The project is to have a lavish presentation box which will reflect the textures and emotions the colour invokes and will be designed to be, in itself an item of high artistic quality.

If this first foray into the sonic collaboration of classical and "Trance like ambience" proves successful, it could lead to a series of colour-inspired projects, the music being chosen to reflect each colour's associated attributes and spiritual connotations.

This first work will showcase themes by well known classical composers such as Schubert, Massenet, Elgar and Bach as well as some original compositions.
