Conspiracy of Equals
The second outing of the Conspiracy of Equals takes place on the 17th Sept. It promises to be a great collaboration by a quartet of today's most exciting UK improvisers and composers.
The latest outing of the the Conspiracy Of Equals, a loose collaboration of musicians from three very different, original and acclaimed groups; The Limbic System, Zaum and The Bird Architects,have come together to support, encourage, promote and collaborate.
Conspiracy #2 is the second gig by the conspiracy; a concert at the Ariel Centre in Totnes, (part of KEVICC, Ashburton Rd) on the 17th September, presents a group comprising Harry S Fulcher (Limbic System), Marco Anderson and Aaron Standon (both from Bird Architects) who are joined by the extraordinary double bassist Pete Brandt the most in-demand jazz bass player on the Bristol Scene. This will be an evening of surprises!
The musicians between them span an incredibly wide range of styles and categories covering everything from funk to folk to pop to jazz (rock and free). The impressive list of past collaborations includes; The Levellers, Maddie Prior, Tony Oxley, Viv Stanshall , Dennis Rollins, Eduardo and Antonio (Forione), Lol Coxhill and Derek Bailey not to mention several very successful hit singles and much acclaimed CDs.
