Upcoming Gigs by Foxy Artists, Groundhogs, Polar Foam

Last week, Marco Anderson joined Australian fusion guitarist Carl Orr (Billy Cobham, Randy Brecker) and Italian saxophonist Antonello Moni (Bob Mitzner)for a fund raiser for the East Bristol Jazz Club.

He will also be supplying the percussive power to Polar Foam's debut gig in The Black-Out Tent, Ashton Court Festival, tomorrow July 22nd at 6.30 PM.

Later next month, he fills the drum chair in Tony McPhee's Groundhogs at Farmer Phil's Festival (Aug 12th). For more details and full lineup please visit www.farmerphilsfestival.com.

The Bird Architects play Bristol on Aug 26th at the Cube Cinema and hit the capital on September 23rd with a date at Spitz Club, Bishopsgate (TBC). Finally, the Birds play the Ariel Centre in Totnes on Oct 12th

Present Tense have been in the recording studio again this summer and hope to have a new release by the end of the year. Also a further collaboration with John Serry (www.johnserry.com) and Paul Dunmall is likely as a follow up to Carnival of Aliens, released earlier this year. A studio project commenced some years ago, Death by Trio is also rumoured to be completed by the end of the year.
